GENERAL GOAL
Use computational systems
efficiently as a tool to solve problems.
Solve real life problems, working
individually and collaboratively through the efficient use of adequate
computational tools.
Recognize and appreciate the
advantage of being constantly updated and of working in a team in an atmosphere
of honesty and respect, which promotes divergent thought in order to generate
better alternatives for the solution of a problem.
Develop the skills to establish
goals that demand one’s best effort and commitment toward reaching them.
Independent learning, which
requires:
Organizing of time
Reading and following instructions
Consciousness of one’s own learning
style
SYLLABUS
The number of chapters for this
course used to be six, but it has increased to eight. It is recommended that professors design outside activities for
the students, such as one or more projects, which may be related to other
disciplines with the objective of helping the students apply what they have
learned to real life situations.
